Good Day to you My Friends!
Let me introduce you to my Family and our Very Victorian World!
I am Marna Jean and This is my Husband Doug and our Daughter
Annie Elizabeth. We love the past and are found living in it quite often.
As you will see in these pages our hobbies range from sewing
to saddle making, embroidery to iron, antiques to horses.
We are a Very Victorian Family
I am a stay at home mom, and design and sew historical clothing for
the Victorian era. I collect 1800's fashion magazines, dressmakers tools, photographs and clothing. Doug pays the
bills, and at home is our saddlemaker, wagon builder, and fix it guy. He has built antique repro furniture and
collects assorted cowboy gear, and leather working tools. Both of us love to hunt and ride our horses. (Doug was
a cowboy in WY for several years, I grew up on a farm in Oklahoma) Annie is a farm child and loves the outdoors,
climbing on things, petting the horses and other animals.
We are currently restoring our home which is a big 3-story built in
1917.
Be patient with these pages - I hope to post more as we go along!
So would you like to see a few of my Dresses?
